Wood Grains and Finishes
  • Classic, Craftsman and Contemporary Collections:
  • Every piece of wood that goes into an IWP door has been carefully examined and selected by expert artisans. IWP offers a variety of quality hardwoods to suit any architecture and style. Choose from the natural look of alder, the traditional beauty of close-grained American cherry, distinctive black walnut, the elegance of genuine mahogany, or the warmth of northern red oak. IWP has a plethora of options for stains. Rich beautiful tones complement the hardwood to create just the look you desire. IWP also manufactures primed, paintable doors from premium hardwoods. All IWP doors feature the Permalane II finishing system, which is the industry's most comprehensive finishing system. IWP pays particular attention during the inspections of components to ensure the finish is uniform and of the highest quality, so your satisfaction is assured.
  • Estate Collection:
  • First decide whether you prefer clear or knotty alder, then choose the wood surface texture. Once you have made that decision, select an antique finish, or choose from several different stain colors that will best convey the look and feel you want for your custom door. Whichever selection you make, your door will be protected by the enduring, industry-leading Permalane II finishing system.
